Useful tips for...everything?

Came upon a great site that contains articles and videos giving you useful tips on everything from getting cheap flights, to keeping sponges clean, to creating a usb flash drive that lets you browse securely on other people's computers. Lifehacker.com is probably going to get a lot of visits from me in the future whenever I'm looking for how-to guides. The site seems focus on information technology while covering a wide variety of topics. One drawback is that the site is a little awkward to navigate if you're looking for specific information, so I do end up using Google to find articles on the site.

Halifax Pop Explosion

Speaking of music....
Halifax Pop Explosion (HPX) is something I heard rave reviews about from friends so I have my mind set on going this year. For all five days of non-stop music in the exciting city of Halifax. With all-access passes for only 50$, you really can't beat that.

As someone who doesn't follow music very closely I'm really not familiar with most of the artists that are going to be there. It's hard for me to get excited about a concert if I've never heard of the people. The HPX site gives links to most of the artists websites, myspace pages, and whatever other band pages they have going but that's all over the place so I compiled a Grooveshark playlist that has a few tracks from almost every artist. Take a peak at who's going to be there, and maybe you'll be inspired to discover new music and even come down!

Already I recommend the Belle Comedians, Stars, Ohbijou, and Olenka & the Autumn Lovers, all of whom will be performing.

Music. Love. Laughter.

I've had an amazing summer full of music, love and laughter. Not one to get obsessive about music and follow it closely, I generally listen to what friends listen to and thus have quite a varied collection of things I like. I really have to work hard going out of my way to discover new music and stick to liking it.
